ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

The contestants is required to provide any of the following details to appear for auditions, eligibility will be checked by the co-ordinators and they will ensure that the participants are eligible in according to their age, after verifying with record copy of proof will also be submitted by the coordinator. If any discrepancy founded, then the participants will be eliminated from the Grand Master of Yoga.

• Copy of Aadhar Card, ID Card or 10th class date of birth certificate and proof of residence. issued by the school, University or any Goverment organization.

• Registered Mobile Number & Email address.

• Age proof, above 18 years are eligible for The Grand Master of Yoga.

• Age proof, below 18 years are eligible for The Little Master of Yoga.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Registration process to take part in the audition for ‘The Grand Master of Yoga’ is mentioned below,

1. Offline Auditions (Live Auditions):

This is a process in which the contestants will have to register themselves for audition with Rs.500/- prior to the day of audition to get them listed for the round and if the contestants get selected for the Qualifying round he/she will have to pay Rs.1500 fees.

2. Online Auditions (Video submission Auditions):

This is a process in which the contestants will have to register themselves online in which they have to demonstrate yogic asanas for not more than 3-5 Minutes . If the contestant gets selected then they have to get registered with the registration fees of Rs.2000.

Please Note :

• Namo Gange Trust will provide lunch to registered / qualified contestants only.

• The TGMY organising committee has decided that all qualified round shall be conducted in Pragati Maidan.

• After the payment is deposited in the NGT account the contestants can’t ask for the refund or return of payment for any reason.

• Score Sheet for Auditions will be provided to all respective Jury members & Co-ordinators.

• Coordinator’s Roles and Responsibilities for auditions will be sent separately.

• Namo Gange Trust shall be paying 17% incentive as honorarium of the total amount of fees collected from each contestant / participant for the Grand Finale round

• Participants are expected to know and abide by rules for contest and to maintain reputation of Trust, in case, anyone is found involved in any transgression, Namo Gange has right to expel the participants and Co-ordinators of contest without any prior notice.

Process for Live Audition :

• Auditions are being conducted in all respective zones of India(north, east, south, west and central zone).

• The respective coordinators are responsible for finalizing place of audition with prior permission from the Namo Gange Trust.

• Jury for Live auditions will comprise of two members, who are renowned person in the field of Yoga.

• The Coordinator will ensure minimum 100 numbers of registrations for the audition round for The Grand Master of Yoga-2021 Event.

• The Coordinator are supposed to send the list of participants and result of audition on the same date of audition.

SELECTION PROCEDURE IN AUDITION ROUND :

• Live auditions all over India.

• Online video submission.

Audition Selection Procedure :

The contestants are supposed to obtain qualifying marks in each respective categories (Practical, Theory & Viva) for the Grand Finale as mentioned below;

• Practical :  20 Marks (The contestants can do any 5 asanas as per his choice which are mentioned in the Curriculum provided for auditions).

• Theory :  20 marks in theory section ten(10) M.C.Q. will be asked from contestant and they are supposed to respond immediately and with in stipulated time.

• Viva round 10 Marks :  The honourable jury will short list minimum number of 50 contestants from the audition for the Qualifying round in Delhi, the personally ask objective type of questions related to yog which reflects the knowledge of contestants in the field of yog.

Rules and Regulation for Video Submission:

• The Video must not exceed 5 Minutes.

• The Video can contain background music.

• The contestants can perform any 5 types of Yoga Asanas by referring to Curriculum.

• The contestants after getting selected will have to submit the registration fees within 15 days.

• Once contestant is confirmed for the qualifying round, he must deposit fee for qualifying round.

• The payment Shall Not be refunded after the submission of registration fees.

• On the basis of the Curriculum provided to contestants the Jury will evaluate them.

• The contestants are supposed to prepare themselves for the auditions as per the Curriculum provided to them.

• For reference, contestant of TGMY refer the Patanjali Yoga Darshan, Hath Yoga Pradipika & Grehan Samhita etc.

Video submission Online :

After the submission of video on-line, the video will be sent to the honourable Jury to review. After their remarks according to TGMY parameters, contestants who have qualified will be informed.

It is a round in which the selected contestants from all over India and abroad from the Auditions or from on-line video selection will be gathered in one place for the qualifying round. This round is being proposed at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Below are the mentioned details for the same :

For the 1st Round / 1st Day

All the participants will be assessed in practical and theory.

In practical Part :-

Group of five participants will perform Asanas according to the Curriculum and Jury's wish and Jury will select the best contestant.
The evaluation will be done according to the posture, stability, sequence, breathing pattern and parameters set by Curriculum and the jury members.

In Theorytical aspect :-

All the participant has to appear in the theory examination. From the practical and theory, Jury will select best 200 contestant.

For the 2nd Round / 2nd Day

All 200 contestants has to :-

• 1) Present the Asana according to Jury/Curriculum.
• 2) According to the time duration.
• 3) Jury will assess the two participants at the same time and select the 50 best contestant for the Grand Finale.

For the 3rd Round / 3rd Day

• Total 10 Minutes will be given to each contestants for this round.

• Presentation of Yog will be done according to the contestant's wish for 3 Minutes.

• Oral presentation of Yog will be done from any of Yogic Field for 3 Minutes.

• Interaction with Jury (3 Minutes) :- Jury will ask the objective type yogic questions from MCQ Curriculum, which is given to Jury by the Organising Committee. Jury will finalize the results on the basis of Practical Presentation, Oral Presentation and Interaction with Jury. Jury will finalize the results on the basis of Execution of Asana, Degree of difficulty, Maintaining balance, Starting and follow up phase, Intensity, Gravity of Asana in Practical Presentation.
  

  From oral presentation and Interaction with Jury, the result will be evaluated on the basis of Knowledge, Oral presentation, Public Speaking, Content of speech and delivering method.

Sum of marks obtained in practical, oral and interaction with jury will be the final marks considered for the position.
